Intelius chief executive officer and co-founder, Naveen Jain does not only do extremely well in the field of business but also in philanthropy. When he launched Intellius in 2003, it focused on the protection assistance of personal information to its consumers. This online-based corporation provides safety and security to client’s private data, and offers options for clients in dealing with business transactions such as protection, trade, authentication, and information assistance. It constantly provides pioneering technologies that gave them various awards like the 2006 Stevie Awards’ “Best New Company.” The awards ceremony is acclaimed by the New York Post as the Academy Awards in the world of commerce.
However, compared to his entrepreneurial success, Naveen Jain’s service to the less fortunate is more rewarding. In fact, in 2008, he and his wife, Anu, donated the total amount of $480,000 in cash to numerous organizations devoted to the youth and family matters, healthcare, and education. That same year placed a new record for the company’s community giving totaling to about $210,000 in cash for various nonprofit regional and national groups. Puget Sound Business recognized Intelius Inc. as the one of the top 15 Corporate Philanthropists.
Naveen Jain has also encouraged the company’s workforce to get involved in charity movements by establishing an employee contribution-matching course and giving paid leaves for their time consumed in helping out with the program. Beneficiaries of his humanitarian campaign include regional groups Youthcare, Hopelink, Olive Crest, Overlake Service League, University of Washington, Bellevue Boys & Girls Club, Tree House, Kindering Center, Eastside Domestic Violence and Seattle Children’s Hospital; and nationwide associations like Children’s Hospital Circle of Care and NNEDV (National Network to End Violence).
